Mep-002/3 hertz gauge

Mine some times acts up. Why are these a common problem with these generators? What are you guys doing to fix them? I know someone used a digital one.

Make sure you check your connections on the transducer and gauge. If they are faulty then you might consider Jimc's Hertz meters, they are cheaper than buying a transducer or gauge.

Do you have a link to Jim's meters? I found a nice replacement gauge on Egay. Digital and fits in the same hole. I wonder if he is a SS.

Yes, the Hz gauges are a problem item.

Look in the classifieds for Jim's replacement gauges. That's the best way to fix this issue.

NOS gauges and transducers are expensive and used ones are hit or miss to have the same problems.
