Good Day: I recommend you get your hands on 2each 2,000 watt space heaters. set up the 5,000 watt gen to provide 120/240 and connect a space heater accordingly to each phase providing output at the load terminals which is the biggest issue here making this connection safely. Best use of those orange Stanley extension cords used to run an entire SSA. (long story) This loads your gen to 4,000 watts of your available 5,000. This is an 80% load of pure resistive load. Cheap and usually works for most testing and loads it enough to see if everything is in order with your gen. A load bank usually costs a wad of cash you can take the better half out to dinner a lot. If a load bank is critical, try AVTRON, SIMPLEX, CANNON, or Fidelity load banks on line using Google and price them. Hope this helps. Be safe...
