Is the fuel cap off the mep gennies interchangable with a cap off of an an m35a2? Mine are pretty cruddy, was thinking a new deuce cap could be had cheaper.

They are different. The deuce cap is a non-vented and the -003 is a lockable vent.

Deuce caps I have (all seven of them) can be set to vent or not. It's what came on the trucks. YMMV

Well I learn something new every day. My deuce cap is marked non-vented. The one on my 003 genny does have the selectable type. Thanks for the info Mike.
