Onan is pretty proud of their parts when it comes to pricing them but they usually do a good job of keeping them in stock.

I'd suggest getting the model and specification info off the engine (if available) and calling or emailing them. If that info is not available (and my brain cell recalls correctly) they have military products contact link on their main website.

I purchased a set of manuals on CD a while back that seems to cover every one from the 1.5kw 28v units on up to the 200kw 110/220/440 units made up through the early nineties... I want to say that I purchased it from Military-Media, but I'd have to pull it out and look... It was around $20...

Welcome to the site.

Jeff, the manuals can be downloaded and are in the tech manuals section; look under resources. The manuals are TM5-6115-585-12 and TM5-6115-585-34. I thought the -24p was there as well but didn't see it.

If you can't find the gasket, RTV should work.

RE: filter

Thanks to all! I do have a WIX51004 filter, it does have a flat gasket, the onan takes a "square o ring"type gasket.WIX tells me the WIXPC202 is no longer a good number and to use the51004. The NAPA1004 is made by WIX ,i do not know what type of gasket it comes with.Does anyone know if the NAPA or the FRAM CH6PL has the correct one?I did talk to someone from cummins [i understand cummins owns onan]they need a part number for the gasket.thanks again ,jeff
