Guys, I am confused by some NSN information that I am reading.

What is the weight of a MEP-005A without trailer and without the load bank?

I see why you get confused. It lists the dry weight at 960 pounds. Turns out, thats the engine. The Mep-003 10KW is 1240 pounds, so no 30KW is going to weigh in at 960. It might be in this tech manual somewhere. Good luck.

Dry weight is 2850 lbs(thats without optional equipment and kits)
With the ASK sound kit it is 4162 lbs.

My data plate says 2850 lbs dry. 30KW, no ASK kit.

thanks guys. I think that 2800 lbs is about right. A couple of them came up for sale at our military base. I think that I am going to pass due to questionable condition and the fact that they are not on wheels, so hard to move around.
