MEP-005A won't run

Mr. Mike I have a mep-005 it will start and run for a second or two and then goes dead. I have changed fuel filters checked float checked for fuel at injector pump any ideas.

A better description of what happens would help. Abrupt shutoff or seems to 'run out of fuel?' Any fault lights lit? With load or no load?

The more information you give, the better the suggestions will be.

If you replaced the fuel filters and didn't fully prime it then you could have some air pockets in the fuel system. It could be sucking in air. You want at least 1/4 tank full or you could end up sucking air from the pickup depending on grade. More info is needed. Compared to the newer tq gens these older ones are much easier to get running.
