Were the mep-017a's ever modified by the military for a 240v neutral mod? I got mine running and checking voltages it has 240 between L2 and L3 in 240v 2 wire single phase but checking further it reads 120 between L0 and L2 and L0 and L3. No neutral mod needed?

As long as the Hertz is 60 you should run what you want to, L1- 120v L2- 120v and a neutral. Make sure the unit is grounded as per the TM.

Please post how you wired the unit with pictures...k
