The float sounds like the plastic/foam one alot of people have been having issues with. Ethanol seems to be causing issues with it somehow. There's no known direct replacements. I've had issues with a 2a016's loosing power after time as well. It has the same carb on it as well. You could alos check out the 4a032 group on Yahoo as well the Smokstak forums.
