I’m looking to cut the diesel fumes a bit on the property. Anyone adapted small cat or dpf to the npt exhaust output?

even better, get an MEP 002 and run it beside the MEP 802.
My wife hates my MEP003A as well. The MEP003A is much noisier than your MEP802A., but has proven to be very dependable. My wife says it stinks and is too noisy. She hates it with a passion until the power goes out in either the hot summer or in the winter cold. Then she loves it. However, her memory is short and within days of the power coming back on, she hates it again.Love the MEP, just tired of hearing my spouse gripe about it.
I’ll move it farther out and route the exhaust Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I’ll be moving the genset about 30’ from the house which should mitigate the noise level and dissipate exhaust a tad more.I'll say that a turbo or propane injection both can greatly reduce soot. A turbo is more complicated to install than propane but it creates another fuel stream. On the plus side you don't have to add that much propane to tidy the exhaust up and unlike DEF you don't damage anything if it runs out.
