Finally made time to wire screen the side vents.
1/4” screening with zip ties.
Also have moth balls placed in various interior spaces away from HV electric or moving parts.

I haven't done this yet as I have tons of cats running around and so far haven't had one build a nest yet...I get the mud duabers in mine now and just have to go in and knock them off and vacuum it out once in a while. Is there a hole in the bottom of the case as well? I have heard they can crawl in from there too.

There are two holes under the batteries for drainage but blocked by the batteries themselves. I still need to look under the main engine rails

I thought they had a drain hole in the middle that was covered by a mesh type material but not sure...keep them out of there though!! They can eat a genset in no time!!

Yeah I have no desire to completely rewire the set. I just had to rewire the main output wires this season due to faulty installation. Rubbed through…

Bounce dryer sheets ward of rodents quite well. (Yes, they have to be bounce brand original aroma.) Just zip tie, place or stuff them in discreet locations. I have used this trick for myself and customers at the shop I work for. Plus they smell much better than moth balls! 😉 Hope this helps.

well it is off the ground a good bit! Probably a good idea to block it off anyhow...rubbed through wires sounds really bad!!
