Sorry for the slow reply. Helping 4 people simultaneously with generator issues around the US this evening.
The START voltage signal comes from S1-7 and goes to TB5 terminal 14. In total terminal 14 will have 4 wires on it. Two on the top screw and two on the bottom screw.
The wire numbers for the 4 wires on TB5-14 are...
140A From S1-7
140B to K12-8 (feeds the Starter circuit)
140C to K15-A (feeds the Flashing circuit)
140D to the diagnostic connector on the outside top left.

Try disconnecting all wires from TB5-14. See if CB1 still pops.
If it doesn't then reconnect wire 140A to TB5-14 and see if CB1 pops.
If it doesn't then reconnect wire 140B to TB5-14 and see if CB1 pops.
If it doesn't reconnect wire 140C to TB5-14 and see if CB1 pops.
If it doesn't reconnect wire 140D to TB5-14 and see if CB1 pops.

It will probably be Monday before I can fool with it since I'm busy tomorrow. Thanks Kloppk for the detailed instructions.
I'll keep you updated. Is there anyway I can get a moderator to change the thread title to cb1 instead of cb3 ?

Unplugged all wires from TB5 at 14 and it started normally. Hooked A up started hooked B up started hooked C up started hooked D up started with no CB1 pop.

All hooked up and CB1 didnt pop.
It's so intermittent. Why is it starting now.... Lol.
I'll try later when it heats up today outside.

I don't think it started with all four unplugged but started with A B C and D plugged in. May have gave some goofey info there.
I believe it just made a noise with all four unplugged but didnt pop CB1.

So after it sat in the sun for a bit went to start it and CB1 popped. So I did the wires again and this is what I get.
All four wires off= both solinoids click
A=both solinoids click
B= start
C=start
D= start

Now magically it's starting again 🥺
Frustrating.

Update !!!!
So I purchased a CB1 from eBay and installed it and it works fine now. So I took the old one apart by drilling out the rivets and sanding down the blob of sealant. Inside I found the contacts were corroded or burnt not making a good connection.
I cleaned both contacts on the old one and reassembled it and it also works fine now.
I have attached pictures from the inside of the old one. I only have one picture of a dirty contact because I cleaned one before I got a picture.

Thanks for all the help and I hope this helps someone in the future.
Also if someone can explain why dirty contacts would make it trip that would be awesome.
Reminded me of dirty points on a car engine that we used to have to clean.
