Hello folks I've have some assistance from some you with this unit this in the past, I bought it several years ago not running from Iron Planet. I've replaced placed the S-1 switch with an Electroswitch replacing the Kraus switch as suggested. I had a friend return a favor on replacing and got it running. brought it back home I had started it about every two weeks ran fine smooth producing power as it should for about four months, now when I try starting I don't hear anything when I rotate the S-1 to prime & run Aux/fuel position, I continue to start position I get no crank only a click from the A-5 relay, also from S-21, click from glow plug solenoid, I do have power on the panel lights. I set the battle short switch "on" nothing. Checking the fault indicator low oil pressure light comes and contactor trip light on. Now I've think I ruled out the stater since I can crank it with the dead crank switch. I've gone on the TM trouble shooting and have gotten know where. The friend that helped has been sent out of the country work related and in Florida you can't predict mother nature. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

What have you tried to diagnose the low oil pressure fault?

When the set is not running, or can not start, the low oil pressure will always be on.

I continue to start position I get no crank only a click from the A-5 relay, (Do you mean the A5 Electric Governor?) also from S-21, (What is an S2-1?) click from glow plug solenoid, I do have power on the panel lights. I set the battle short switch (S-7) "on" nothing. (The set will not start when the S-7 is in the on position) Checking the fault indicator low oil pressure light comes (See above post) and contactor trip light on. (What is a contactor trip light?) Now I've think I ruled out the stater since I can crank it with the dead crank switch. I've gone on the TM trouble shooting and have gotten know where. We need to get on the same sheet of music. That way its easier to try and figure out the problem. What kind of "Electroswitch" did you replace the S-1 with? Are the batteries fully topped off?

All the best,

The unit was running nicely, now from some of the suggestions I have read from the replies the issued with the prime and run pump it's answered I've top off the fuel tank so that would take care of that. I have not tested the low oil pressure fault. The batteries are fully charged it will crank with no issues from the dead crank switch. I've tested all the relays behind the control panel lid. Yes on the A-5 relay it clicks, mistake on the S-21 it's the K-21 I will try to check some of the suggestions and get back with some updates.

Okay starting to get my toes wet with this unit. So far I've checked k-11 thru 21 all seem to check ok, K-2 has power on the main hot feed wire coming from the starter and will activate and crack nicely with the Dead crank switch. The A-5 has no power in any of the terminals in the prime and run position, only when I move to start it has power at the 1,3,9.18,19 and 20 terminals. I've continued checking the TM but nothing close to these symptoms also checked on some of the posted threads with no crank. Any help Is appreciated
