How to test K1 without starting.

Push in CB1.
Put the S1 in the run position.
Flip up S7
Push S5 up.
The S7 should light up
Take ohms reading on K1.

Contactor cleaned up and tested it was definitely hanging up. Now back in the unit and it t looking good, the contactor engagement at the AC interrupter switch appears to be working. I will test the voltage at the posts this weekend. I would like to load test the unit but have to find a local place to that now everything seems to be operational. Thank everyone for the assistance and expertise to get this old generator back into service again.
