MEP-805B chugs when I start it

This generator ran like a champ. This summer it would "chug" when it was under utilized-I thought.
Now it chugs all the time. Frequency swings wildly as its running. It used to stay at 60hz. Now it goes from 58 tp 62.
Like I said, it ran fine the last two months.
Attachment is a video for sound, but it wouldn't load. If I try to close the circuit, it does not produce electricity. Error message is voltage too high....
Any and all help is appreciated.

Is it possible that you have some sort of contaminates in the fuel?
Maybe like trucks, some fuel additive will help cleanup the IP and injectors as it runs?

As described, it has gotten worse with time.
When did you last add fuel?
