MEP 805B Screen replacement?

My 'mouse' no longer works. Will replacing the screen fix this?
Or do the controls need to be swapped?
I have a non working generator with a working screen and mouse.

No. Key board card behind the panel is probably bad.

Sure you can swap it out.

I would suggest taking the top off and reading the book. Then you know what to look for.
