First & foremost, a big thanks to those who share your knowledge here.

I just saved the log file from my 806B CIM:

  1. USB port is on the Left side of the CIM, when you open the control panel. Looking in through open control panel, the USB port is behind the right side of the panel & there is a rubber dust cap in the port.
  2. To copy the logs to the USB drive:
  3. Insert a Simple (the MEP's use 486 / Windows 95 era technology) USB drive (2-16 Gigabyte, formatted Fat 32, Single Partition) USB drive into the USB port described above.
  4. Power up the CIM (Master Control & Panel Lights switches ON).
  5. Move the mouse pointer down to LOGS (bottom left corner)
  6. Click on Logs
  7. Select "Transfer Logs to USB"
  8. Move the USB Drive back to your computer.
  9. Look for a file called "OP_LOG.TXT" on your USB drive. The file date will NOT be accurate. Mine was created 04/21/2010.
  10. If it bursts into flames, it's not my fault :)

I was not able to upload the log file here, so I shared it on Dropbox:

I searched the TM, but didn't find any of this info in the TM or the forums.

Cheers!!

Just from looking at the .xls file here is what the data log seems to be to me.
(I shifted the data so it was all aligned properly first.)

From left to right..

Data Column 1: Voltage Phase A
Data Column 2: Voltage Phase B
Data Column 3: Voltage Phase C
Data Column 4: Current Amps Phase A
Data Column 5: Current Amps Phase B
Data Column 6: Current Amps Phase C
Data Column 7: Frequency in Hz
Data Column 8: Oil Pressure PSI
Data Column 9: Fuel Level in %
Data Column 10: Coolant Temp *F

Fuel Level warning at 25%
Shutdown at 5% fuel level

Just my guess based on 1 cup of coffee.

Kloppk, Thanks for lifting the vail. Your breakdown of the columns makes complete sense. I am so used to thinking in terms of vehicle trouble codes that I missed the more obvious explanation.
