MEP Generator suggested upgrades/retrofits

Good morning,

In reading of forums and tsms I see at least a couple of suggested fuse retrofits. For example my 803a suddenly stopped outputting voltage over the weekend so I jumped on the forums and found a bulletin about adding a fuse to the voltage rectifier.

Are there other retrofits that should be done to protect and extend the life of these machines?
