Mfg. ?

How can I find out who is the Mfg. of the trailer I just picked up at GL.
It was listed as MDL M101-A1 the data plate showes it's a 1962 but the MFG. is blank. I have the vin.# if that helps.

Need to find someone with an intact complete data plate on their 1962 M101A1. It should be the same manufacturer.

Johnson Furnace? Post all the numbers you have and let us sleuths get to work. Should be 5 lug Budd wheel with no surge brakes to be a 1962.

I have a 1968 Johnson Corp. and getting a SF97 was easy for that one.
If I can get the correct name for this 1962 I will stamp it on to the data plate then I can get a good title for this one.

Did they use cage codes in 62? If so that would work.

I have found a few, and all 1962s I have found were made by JETA MFG. I dont think they are related to the company with the same name in Neenah, WI

I agree with NDT your # s are close to mine and its made by Johnson corp Bellevue ,Ohio the national stock # is 2330-00-898-6779 your Fed # 233-898-6779
mine is a 1968

But it might be a Case Master Body Inc. or GAr Wood Industries as well. There are many makers for these trailers.
All have 4 didget serial numbers in the 1960's.
All M101A1 have the FSN 2330-898-6779.
Refer to TM 9-2330-202-14P, August 1962.

G L sent me my title to day for my 1962 Johnson trailer. That took longer then the paid in full invoice lol
