Always love your posts USSR, but tell you what, these latest here make me think:

- That of all the things we have come up with in this world,

- That War is the absolute stupidist thing there is

- Here the world is burning all around us (ALL of us)

- Viruses threaten us everywhere (ALL of us)

- But instead of banding together to fight these threats

- We fight one another

Plain and simple: that is stupid.

But. That's what we do.

Guess that we're all pretty stupid. Me more than most!

Russian anti-aircraft officer Sergei Maenov was the only one able to hit a TY-300D missile from Igla-S MANPADS with a direct hit. This happened during the ARMI-2021 "Clear Sky" competition taking place in China. Lieutenant Maenov was recognized as the most accurate marksman in the race. The TY-300D rocket simulated a high-speed air target at an altitude of 1.5 thousand meters

NIce shooting for Mr. Maenov!

But was it really HIS dead-eye?

Or was it maybe the electronics on the projectile?

Both?

The use of the newest light buggy "Sarmat-2" during the SSU "West-2021" at the Mulino training ground
"Sarmat-2"

In case of need would not require much effort to restore it. "Sarmat" is designed for special forces, airborne troops and intelligence. While it is equipped with a 7.62 mm pkm machine gun, but its no problem to replace the heavy "Cord" or automatic grenade launcher, explained elisha. Gross vehicle weight can reach up to 1. 9 t engine power – 95 l/s, speeds of up to 130 km/hour, cruising range – 500 km is designed to carry four people.

That's convenient. Because isn't our M-60 replacement (whatever the designation is), isn't it also configured for the 7.62mm round?

So, if when we go to war with one another we can all use each other's ordnance (interchangeably), to annihilate one another.

Efficient. Convenient. Brilliant!!

Unique footage of the night landing of Pskov paratroopers during the SSU "West-2021". For the first time in the history of the Russian Airborne Forces, units landed equipment and personnel at night using infrared vision devices. The release of 600 personnel and nine pieces of equipment was carried out by Il-76MD aircraft from a height of up to 1 kilometer under difficult weather conditions. Upon landing, the paratroopers captured the airfield of the mock enemy in order to ensure the landing of the main forces of the compound, and then made a 100-kilometer march to the Struga Krasnye training ground, where they will have to work out raid and airborne assault actions to capture an advantageous line, destroy newly identified enemy targets, and maintain a maneuverable defense and retention of a section of the state border.

7.62mm NATO is a 7.62x51mm cartridge; the Russian one is 7.62x54mm.
