Wow, That looks great.
Is the top of the jerry can and the front of the hood supposed to be yellow, or is that your choice?

The 'Yellow Nose' was used by the 8th. Transport Group in vietnam starting in 1968. Their Company Commander could then tell which trucks were his when he flew over the convoys in the CC chopper. The yellow top on the gerry can signafies diesel fuel, I just made it the same color as the nose. The yellow markings on the tools in the pioner rack have the same yellow strips on them so when a soldier let it lay on the ground it could be seen and picked up.
When you have some time check out the Army Transportation Association's site for all kinds of interesting facts and stories about the trucks and their drivers who served during the vietnam conflict.

Lance, yes they will be at Gilbert. Please stop and check her out.

Awesome job. Was it a frame up job or just an outside job. Either way, great looking truck. Was it blasted or Sanded?
HT, it was a Depot (outside) repaint and they were both sanded. Lots and lots of sanding. That job was done by Dave and his men at Eastern Surplus.
