Muffler Options M923A2 ?

Time to replace the muffler on my driver,any recommendations on NON stock mufflers, there are some Walker oval case which are close. I don't want to run a straight pipe as the truck is nice and quiet even with a holey muffler.

I just picked up 3) used in good shape mufflers from Rodneys for myself and a friend for $60 or $20 a piece.

Straight pipe would be cool with a propane nozzle at the top with a control in the cab so you could shoot flames out.

I was thinking about doing that for a while actually.

Does that propane need an ignitor? Would it burn in the pipe (meaning there is enough oxygen left after the engine combustion)? I also like that idea.

They do it on muscle cars I'm pretty sure the exhaust is hot enough to ignite it. It uses a solenoid valve like on a nitro shot kit.

You got a pretty darned good price at 20.00 per muffler if they are in good shape, I bought a NOS one and it ran me 295.00

Propane does need an igniter it also needs a warming manifold to make sure all propane expelled is gaseous and not liquid.
