Well I googled M25A2 prelube and this website came up: HTTP:// bunkerofdoom.com/m35/prelube1/index.HTML and the whole kit is available plus a video of it working! And my question about using it to post lube is answered , as it is suggested for that purpose as well as a prelube. Dont know the price yet

Engine life

Wow! I read so much information in this post that my brain must have "information overload".

I run 15-40 oil in the summer and 5-40 in the winter. Keep the road speed at
about 50 mph and try not to abuse anything.

Perhaps the problem in southeast asia was the heat/humidity? In Vietman's hot
climate and combat conditions, those trucks that broke down might have simply
been pushed too hard and overheated; leading to engine failure??:driver:

Hello Gunner3011, And I am in agreement with the trucks being abused. But I want my engine to last at least 500000 miles , just like the civilian heavy hauler/tractors do. I am so glad for this website because its a source enabling me, and all of us, to take good care of our trucks.

mine's still running strong. Just have an oil leak on the passenger side of the front head gasket but have been told that it's not really an issue, just keep an eye on the oil and keep it topped off!!! I haven't had to add anything noteworthy to top off.
