When aprking for the winter, do people take specail precautions regarding the fuel in the lines?

Normally, we have winter and summer diesel here. Mine still has summer diesel, but I will not be using it anymore until April. Should I take any specail precautions?

I would make sure you do not have any water in the filters to freeze . If you do not plan to run it all winter that is the only thing id worry about . If you think you may want to fire it up then id treat the fuel with anti gel . Instructions are on the bottle X amount for X amount of fuel .

Great, we can start a local chapter and organize some events (or at least share experiences). Would be interesting to get a quote on how much shipping would cost.

The winter and summer diesel is doen automatically by the companies throughout Europe, mostly as of late October or early November. Some extra addatives so the diesle can stand the low temperatures.

Don't forget the Europeans have in general much smaller but more efficient engines (he he ;) ).
