If we are going to put a rig on the calendar on the month they won, best if it represents the time of the year it won. Seriously seeing a rig on the beach in January. Here is something more realistic for February when one thinks of February.
It's all relative! Around here it often looks the same in February as it does in July - clear, dry, and sunny. It was 82* here last Saturday. Perfectly feasible beach weather. :)
Of course, it also depends on what day it is, as Central Texas winter weather is a roller-coaster ride - it's currently 58* and cloudy here. Supposed to be 33* on Tuesday, with a low of 15*, but back to 70* by the weekend.
Last time we saw snow was 2021.

Cheers

Edit - it ended up being 77* yesterday afternoon

@Guyfang and @Migginsbros and @Weldman you three missed combined thursday&sunday up here in canada?!!

too much bleeping white bleep so deep everywhere! if you thought one boot-eating amount of fresh bleep wasn't enough to try get yourself out of by friday morning only to then too soon get smacked with a lot more bleep on sunday.
heheh?
(I know I know, I maybe sound like one of these 1980's tv character with a sour mood going onto the radio/phone with "now..you..listen..here..you.." sharp tongue)

I'm sure northeast usa must have had a similar crap too, just not as deep as I here got it? *big grin*

[and by the way weldman if you had been here your truck would bleeping be almost invisible come early monday morning no matter that it had big tires elevating it in the first place so mm yeah say no more hehe]

We have not had enough snow this year to write home about. Sadly, that is. My Grand Sons need to go out sledging!
.
Absolutely! The "talking heads" are calling for 1 to 2 inches for tomorrow.
Of course, it might end up getting a foot - or nothing at all...

although its nothing to do with military vehicles I still present you this photo of my father "trying to find where his subaru outback was again" the day immediately after thursday's snowfall as much as he had just about finished blowing out the driveway itself hence the "edged" snow there
(just to stop any possible confusion, this is the more bulky&taller suv variation rather than the earlier-dated wagon variation)

and naturally that was only thursday, sunday dropped much more snow than thursday did..!

We get about 13 inches a rain here, so not going to be that much snow. Though I hope you got some thick skin, was -32°F which is pretty close to -40°F or C though windchill sure surpassed that to -45°F
