Welcome to the July 2018 MV of the Month Nomination Thread!

To submit a nomination the rules are simple:

1. - You may nominate your own vehicle or another SS Members vehicle (please ask the member first). Please do not nominate non- SS member vehicles.

2. - ONE good photo must be submitted with your nomination. (Not a link) PLEASE POST ONLY 0NE PICTURE!!!

3. - Previous winning vehicles from the current year cannot be re-nominated.

4. - One vehicle nomination per member per month (It's to keep things fair).

5. - We are limited to 20 vehicles per month for the contest. Once we get 20 vehicles nominated OR at 20:00hrs (8PM) on 15 July 2018, (whichever comes first), the nomination thread will close and the "Vote Thread" will open as soon as The Boss can open it. All times listed are Eastern Standard Times.

6. - Please do not "campaign" for your favorite MV on THIS thread...wait for the "Vote Thread" then have at it!!

Now come on folks, let's see those beautiful MV's you have so we can all enjoy them.

Our 94 M998 started out as a two door with troopseat kit. It Served in the MS Army National Guard in a Finance unit so she was a cherry when I picked her up. 20k miles, no leaks, runs like a champ. I wish I had one this nice when I was serving!

Edit: Added pic from link for you...PB

7 With four days left. :jumpin:
Ah, but as Chaplain around here I should take this opportunity to "educate" a little....

Biblically speaking, the number 7 means "finished" or "complete".

https://www.gotquestions.org/number-7-seven.html

Quoting:

The first use of the number 7 in the Bible relates to the creation week in Genesis 1. God spends six days creating the heavens and the earth, and then rests on the seventh day. This is our template for the seven-day week, observed around the world to this day. The seventh day was to be “set apart” for Israel; the Sabbath was a holy day of rest (Deuteronomy 5:12).

Thus, right at the start of the Bible, the number 7
is identified with something being “finished” or “complete.”

End Quote.

Just thought I'd throw that in as a plug for the SUNDAY SERMON thread. (See my Signature Block below for a link.)

Personally, I hope that our list of 7 for this month will continue beyond any implied "finish" and that it won't be "complete" until we have a full ballot of 10.

Hehehe
I'm so excited!!! I wanna VOTE NOW!!!

You are correct in all you said.....except to say that the number 7 here indicates the "end or finish" of fellers procrastinating and half-stepping about nominating their beautiful MV's.

Also, the Christian Faith sets aside Sunday as the 7th Day (end, or finish) and wouldn't ya just know....Sunday the 15th is the "end or finish" of this nomination thread!!
