I think it's still important to remember the role that the "GunTrucks" filled in both Vietnam and in more current conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. In this picture, I had the pleasure of meeting two of the Soldiers who manned the truck Proud American

Sorry Joe, Proud American won MV of the Month and MV of the Year last year. I thank you for nominating her but she's had her due and I do not want her nominated again for many reasons which I won't go into here.

Is there a way to make it to where when a member logs on the first page he/she gets is the nomination, then vote thread, and the make it more encouraged for people to vote?
I didn't know if that is possible or would cause problems.

I don't think making something mandatory is the way to go. Once you start doing that you'll start turning away users. I think the best way is to somehow promote the voting and encouraging people to read that thread and then vote. Generally when someone tells me I have to do something I tend to tell them where they can stick something else.
