So I got asked about my tow lights. Here is a pic, they are semi easy to find and a similar set could be easy to make. Hopefully this helps those new to MV's.

Wow, those are nice. The cord seems more difficult to find than the bar. A while back when the market got flooded with rear LEDs I found myself buying them often. My lightbar got the first pair and they work great behind the CUCV too. Oh, they fit great in a medbox too.

I have been wanting one for awhile now, as many pickups and recoverys I do for myself and others. Just can't justify the prices I've seen.
I made a quick set with some angle and two rear LEDs. Work ok but I would like to get the real deal or build something very close one day.

I built a ludicrously cheap and terrible looking tow light setup with a couple of the cheap eBarf LED's and some various garbage from Home Cheapo. They work on military 10 pin 24V and civvy 7 pin or 4 pin setups.

I think it looks fine Clinto. Not everyone buys their tow light set on Ebay for $75 Not everyone gets 2 bars and one new cable for that same $75. Shhh, don't tell Ron that I paid that little, I sold him the extra bar for a whopping $40.

Can we get another take of picture number 1? This time, pan the camera up though.
We made our own. When looking for a set we could only find people asking $350+ for them. Since we had a new set of rear MV lights sitting around we decided to put them to use. Bought some regular clearance lights and put 24v bulbs into it.
Just got a 2x2 tube of aluminum and bolted the lights to it. We put loops on the back to let us connect straps to it and to the vehicle.
Used a plug we got off a scrapped trailer and bought around 40 feet of cable/wiring. To make things easier when installing the lights on the truck, we used a standard civi 7-way plug as a quick disconnect.
