MX-6707 antenna CB HACK

I saw some postings where the user tunes the base and trims the whip to frequencies in the Citizen’s Band. Has anyone done this? Anyone have a MX-6707 base to sell so I can give this a try?

So... I don't have the real answer - but if you had a SWR Meter - you might be able to trim the antenna to the right spot.
