Can the MX-6707 antenna base be used with the mast sections MS-116-U, MS-117-U, and MS-118-U, or will those mast sections only screw onto the AB-558 base?

The MX-6707 will only fit the AS-1729 antenna system. The MS series will fit the AB-15 or AB-558 bases. So to answer your question, no

The AS-1729 is the only one. It is actually a verticle dipole, not an end fed whip like the MS series. http://www.prc68.com/I/AS1729.shtml
