Feds DIDNT come get the trucks, they are all where they were.

Most of these trucks arent in great shape.

Why not finish the auction & then tell us no euc required ?

I realize they didn't physically walk in and drive the trucks away.
It's all about paperwork.
Why not finish the auction? Simply, that's not DLA/DRMO's priority. If there is a mandate sent down with a specific start date, they're not going to hold off because of an auction. Just be patient and this too shall pass.
