Finally was able to get some pictures taken of the beast. Pardon the red paint, it was used by a Fire Dept. Plan on repainting her in the spring.

Very straight clean body Larry. Looks like you got a good truck. Did the fire department take the antenna mounts off of the sides of the bed? I don't see them in these pictures. Looks like you still have the blackout lights. Are they functional? If you need any help on troubleshooting those, let me know, I still have the installation instructions (very detailed) from when I put a NOS kit on mine.
I look forward to seeing your update/progress pictures in the future.

McGuyver,
They removed the antenna mounts and filled the holes on the outsides of the bed when they painted it, the inner holes are still there.
The blackout lights work. The right rear BO light lense is missing. Looks like they must of hit it with something and broke it off, I'll try to find a replacement for it somewhere. The left front BO light has a broken wire or something up inside of it. May have to replace it too. Where can I find replacements for them?? Do they have bulbs inside that are replaceable??
I've been very happy with the truck. It runs and drives like new. Not too bad for $275 huh??

Hi Larry,

these lights are permanenlty sealed and I believe they use LEDs that are not replaceable anyway. These B/O lights regularly come up for auction on Ebay and you can also buy them new as well at Saturn Surplus. They're usually reasonably priced. That's great to hear that the truck runs so well. Mine has always been hard to start. Never been able to figure out why, but then, I haven't tried too hard.
