MY first deuce (and first US vehicle)

I thought I would share pics of the first US vehicle I bought. Its a 53 xm211. As you can seeits gonna need a lot of work. Is supposed to ahve new brakes on all wheels, new master cyl. BUT needs trans work supposedly. I will be hauling it home soon hopefully so I can get to working ont. First on the agenda is getting it running, driveable, then taking the ugly bed off, custom build a bed and winch system to haul my ferret. Its going to be a lot of work I know.

Tell me what ya think of it. Oh and that goofy top has gotta come off and be fixed back for an original type soft top, I like the soft tops better actually.

Cool truck! That top may be an original type, others here should know better. It sounds like you have a plan, good luck. Also, how about a picture or two of the ferret? Eric
