Far from reliable, until the Mk13a engine was achieved they were horrendous, pack changes were required regularly. Challenger 1 and 2 are far more reliable.
I will second this! We have done war games with them in the past and the chieftain spent more down time that running time. Now I have bought one to go with my 432 but I'm already looking at making a Deutz motor swap.

I have had the privilege of seeing those three tanks at Army Trucks Inc. They are all very well done conversions, a lot of heavy steel and hand made parts. The studio that commissioned them spared little expense in their construction. Congratulations Doc!
