is it usable with like an aftermarket tach from the parts store?
whats so rare about it?

Nothing rare about it, I have several you can buy them at most marine shops. that what I did

rebuilt the turbo myself, was pretty easy really except for one snap ring flying across garage

How did the engine rebuild go? I have a locked up motor and am curious if I could try it or have some ag students do it for me.
