My new 1951 M38 project

So I have an opportunity to pick up a 1951 M38 with arctic top and heater; what is it realistically worth? It's been sitting since the 1970's and has virtually no rust.

You may want to check and see if the engine will turn over by hand, but only after putting oil in the cylinders and letting it soak. It is likely the fuel tank will be rusted out after sitting so long. If you can get that jeep for a good price, I would definitely go for it.

Did you end up buying this? That looks like a great start to a nice resto project! I've got one of those heater kits still in the crate from 1953, lol. It weighs 200lbs!

Yes, i'll pick it up in 2-3 weeks; after I clear a path to it. (and figure out how to get it off the 1952 M36 it is sitting on)

We haven't even started looking at vehicles. Right now we are hauling scrap to gain access to the yard. I spent the last two days cutting up that nuclear missile tripod hoist......
