Happy to see that she is a 10 wheeler (6 wheeler)! I was a little concerned that yesterdays update showed that she was only showing 4 (6). Much better! :)
Those wheels were temporary. Had to keep the truck high enough so that it would not sit on the ladder going to the sleeper.

That clear coat sure makes the grain of the wood show...
That is a NEAT truck! And with the trailer behind it, it will be extra cool...
I made some more progress on the tanker trailer. I hope to have most of the undercarriage done today. I glued the cradle to it last night.

Here I was going to ask you how you managed the tread on the tires, now I see those weren't even the tires for the truck.
Like Mullaney say's, "Looks NICE"
Thank you for the compliment. Those wheels with the treads are "store bought". I have a jig for putting treads on tires. It is made to do diagonal grooves at different angle and counts per wheel.

Looks really good! Do you have display cases full of your creations? Or are they strategically placed around the Hosenda? Are they gifts for your kids/grandkids? Or for needy children? Got an website available for collection viewing?

Just that darn curiosity coming out again in me! LOL

I have three 8 foot shelves in the living room and more in my office filled with all the models. My sons will inherit them when I am gone. Too fragile to use as toys. It takes me an average of 1 week to make one. (more than 8 hours per day)

All the pieces are manually cut and sanded by me, not laser cut or CNC machines. I really enjoy the challenge!
