My observations with 50wt in tranny

If the gear oil bottle says works in gl1-5. It will work fine in anything requiring 1-5. Using it in old trannies will not harm it at all.

The syncos are between 2&3 and 4&5. There is not one for 1st. That is why it's harder to get into 2nd. As for the oil or lube. I'm so confussed

There is one for second, Most of my trouble was down shifting into second. So yes it was a synco problem.
