I didn't realize M170's had their voltage regulator on the firewall. My M38A1 has it on the passenger side framerail.

i have 2 of these jeeps one data plate is u.s.m.c. the other is unstamped this is why im curious to what makes it navy? thanks

It looks to have a couple of coats of Navy Grey paint on the Jeep and the previous owner said that it had been a Navy Jeep when He purchased it in California.
