Mystery box?

Hello, I found this wooden box in a pile of parts that I have. It’s metal banded and I have no idea what’s in it. I don’t want to cut the bands in case it would potentially lower the value of whatever is inside....
Does anyone have a clue what’s inside this?

You just never know what's hidden in those Goobermint Boxes ! ! !

The nsn on the box comes back to the vehicle end item. P/O means part of. FP means foreign packed (I think) F means For Truck Utility etc. I THINK your crate contains the BII or OVM (basic issue items or On Vehicle Material) such as the jack and tool bag with tools. This crate would have been inside a M151 as it was issued to using troops.

I have a few m151a2 parts that I want to sell and need to find values on them.
Maybe I’ll take it to my dr and see if I can talk him into an X-ray.....

Those two possibilities would have significantly differing weights, wouldn't they?

Which prompts the question.... How much does this crate weigh and what are the overall dimensions???
