I bought a new air filter for the 5 ton multifuel from memphis equip that had the dot matrix configured number mostly cleaned off with a wire wheel signifying to me there must be a comercial part number they did not want me to see.

I have searched Napa, Baldwin, and Hastings heavy duty truck and equipment catalogs for years and have never found a true equal air filter for either M35 or M39 series trucks with multifuel engines. Buy them from Memphis, or Adirondack Dodge Parts or Sprucemt surplus, install a precleaner on the elbow, clean the filter once in a while and enjoy your ride.

OD Iron has air filters for both the MF/Mack and the 800 series. Saturn shows only the MF/Mack.

Make sure you get a filter with enough CFM capacity. I think there are some filters out there that will fit, but don't allow enough airflow.
