Which work better offroad? I thought about grooving the NDTs so they'd bite better.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
We looked in to grooving the ntd but it was $125 a tire! Ouch!!
I here the Michelins make for a smoother ride too as an added plus.
Yes, Miches are awesome. I run them on my daily drive Cummins Dodge. (My wannabe Deuce)It does work. I did a set for my M37, some time ago - like the lower pattern. However the grove was narrower. At the time, I got an electric tire re-groover from JC Whitney. It didn't work too bad, just a little slow. But it won't ruin a tire, if you slip either. Like a chain saw will.

Glad to see the NDT's getting good press, they are awesome, Its apples to oranges though for the most part, but have to say NDT's with them cut up to be a stricked off road tire, not meaning U can't drive em on the road but the center line adds all the reliability to how long they last, I would say they would be right up there with anything else, and even though they are not a radial, they do run at super low air pressure and are very flexible, so they would be awesome to say the least...
