Want to see if anyone has a serviceable hoist motor or rebuilt . Tried a couple of takeoffs main shaft rusted could not get the O rings to seat properly . It seems if they sit to long the upward pitch on the motor takes in water and rust the shaft. Appreciate any replies Scott

Get the shaft smooth, do not worry about the pits, then speedy sleeve it where the O ring goes, BEFORE you install the sleeve use NON harding permatex where the sleeve goes, do not worry about to much, the sleeve will take off the excess, let the permatex set up a bit before the sleeeve install, this WILL seal the pits and the shaft and is a LOT cheaper then a NEW motor.
