Need Engine repair near Los Angeles

Does anyone know a place to take an M1009 for engine repair? My mechanic just diagnosed the reason for the oil light turning on when the engine is hot. Sand. He says that the bearings and camshaft are scored and the engine needs replacing at the tune of $7000. I don't know if that is a reasonable price, but it is something I really can't afford.

The vehicle is drivable but oil pressure is low. Does anyone know a reliable repair shop or someone one the west that can help me repair my beast? Thanks for your help.

That would be great! I am looking for a pulled engine. If anyone knows where I can get one...

I have a 1009 in Palm Springs that you can have. The motor has 55,000 miles on it. you just need to pick up the whole truck. Im moving to the Dominican Republic and I need it off my friends property.
