Need help with lift questions

Picking up my first M35a2 and wondering what's the minimum amount of lift required to put 53's on it? It's going to be for the street only. Also what other things will I have to worry about when doing so? Is it better to go with 49's for all the extra hassle of the 53's? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Bobbed or tandem rears? Bobbed= realatively simple. Tandems=loads of fabrication.

Put 395's on it and call it good.......those big tires will make you hate living.....especially when you have to change one.

Wrecker man said it best. 395s are real fun to change. i bought a tire cart with a bottle jack on it to move mine around. makes taking a tire off pretty easy now.
