need help with wiring 2nd alt

I tore down my cucv last August and forgot to take pics now I dont remember how the second alternator was wired up ive got the plug the ground but I have a 24v wire and a 12v wire and one terminal do they both go on the same terminal or somewhere else or did I get the wrong alternator. The one I got is 108 amp with the female plug ground post and pos post and the little nipple. I really could use the help

The correct alt is a 100 amp(not 108).

What page is it on and I doubled checked its the 100amp I started looking but couldn't find if so far dont know if I over looked or not. Oh one more question are the oil pressure sensors known for going out. I just rebuolt my engine after thecrank whent out and the oil light comes on at idel and its to the full mark on the stick and has a new oil pump

That is because if the 12v/24v system. The 12v from GEN1 feeds into the "isolated ground" of GEN2 and combines with the 12v that is generated by GEN2 and outputs 24v (12v+12v=24v). if the GEN2 does not have the "isolated ground" the system would not work as designed.

on GEN2 don't think of it as a ground terminal. Instead think of them as the "input" terminal and the "output" terminals.

I would think calling it a Negative terminal(negative to the rear battery) would be less confusing.

Just like the battery cables(are connected).

Ok last question the diagnostic plug for alt 2 where does the wire go or should say whats it conected to I know where it goes on the alt but for some reason when I taped the wires off it wasbt in the bunch and I cant find it where should I start to look?
