need info on my m416 military markings on the back side.

I have a 1967 stevens m416 trailer. (4 color camo) I have been in the process of restoring it and found under some house paint a blue diamond with the markings being 5LM at the top of the diamond, left side had USMC and the right side had the trailer number 343393. My question is would this have been done over the oring camo paint job? and what does the mark mean? Thanks Gabe

I don't know about the blue diamond The USMC it was a Marine trailer. It's Vietnam Era 24087 OD Rapco is Army and the Marine was a diffrent shade of OD. It was mostly OD and Camo later.I was looking at some pic's from when I was in Germany before I went to Vietnam couldn't any pic's with that marking but I have seen it
