Need M1061A1 Data Plates

I have an M1061A1 (or so I think) that's missing it's dataplates.
One of the rims was dated 83, and that means my trailer is over 25 years old and qualifies for HISTORICAL VEHICLE plates, which would just be great.

If anyone knows where I can get a set of new or used data plates, it would really help me out...

CA doesn't issue Historical plates for trailers. A PTI (permanent trailer identification) plate is cheaper anyway.

I have a Historical Vehicle plate on my M100.
Nothing in the vehicle codes, paperwork or DMV system prevent you from registering a historical trailer as a Historical Vehicle.

Thanks for those photos.

I think you can do homebuilt in any state... I did that for my 1989 M116A2, it's just something I want to avoid on the M1061A1 if I can... The emtpy weight of this trailer might screw me unless I get it as a HV.

Okay, I found a company that WILL MAKE THEM!
I just need some measurements and perhaps other photos?
Does anyone have the tiedown/lifting data plate?

Sometimes you find these plates on MV flee markets in Germany, even new without numbers. Reo plates or M116A1 / M116A2 are easyer.

I bought my M116A2 plate from Ebay... maybe it was one from there!?

MV dataplates can make them. Give 'em a call.
Actually they told me (just a matter of days ago) that they no longer are making data plates! :|

Making Progress!

I just got this email reply this morning:

Aaron,
I got your photos and I'm comparing them to labels we have set up for Utility Tool & Trailer.
If we get lucky we will have set these up already, if not we can start from scratch. I'll
wait & see what we have before determining pricing.

Thanks,
John
:-D

Thanks to stretch for photos and measurements!
