Here is a part number from Oreillys that says it is for the 9.5" Ring Gear Second Design, 743B070A . It looks closer to yours.

Thanks for the try but measurements on the seal to yoke do not match. NAPA has picked up parts and is trying to match. Will post P/N if they find one.

Thanks

The closes NAPA could come was P/N 20457 wheel seal from a KIA, it is installed and works so far. Talked with Retired motor pool super who works at Sears, he thinks is was a depot mod. Still have old seal will try to get it matched at Chevy dealer.

Thanks for your help Al

Did you replace and properly torque the crush collar ?
hard to tell from the pic but the yoke looks to have a repair sleeve on it ??

All that was is a seal with a mud/dirt cover.
You can get them with and with out just like a output shaft seal.
That is not some KIA mod.. it just happens that a KIA uses that seal some place.
Also that yoke has a speedy sleeve on it.
It might be a good idea just to spend the 30 bucks and put a new yoke in there.

Good luck, lots of variations in yokes and seals in that era of trucks and axles.

Honestly, give a place like Randy's Ring & Pinion or a good driveline shop. They will know exactly what fits. Another place to try is Rockauto.com, you will be able to at least get the seal dimensions to compare with what you have. Maybe match something up and get a good part number to buy locally.
