Need some opinion on value

Not sure if this is the right place to post this or if I'm even supposed to be asking questions like this. I recently purchased a parts hwmmv that has the 4 man hard top with the turret hole already blanked off and a solid rear curtain. I have a friend that wants to buy it but I have no idea what its value would be. Just hoping I could get a few opinions from some of you folks. Thanks in advance for any replies.

It is missing most of the engine and drivetrain components and front end damage so not really a good candidate to get on the road.

Just my experience but the 1165 top and curtain is pretty valuable, I’ve seen them listed for 5-6k over the last year- not sure if they sold? But if it’s a buddy make him trade you something really good plus cash. lol.

What front end damage are you talking about? Yeah engine is full of rain but otherwise looks like an almost complete truck to put on the road. And you basically stole it at $3600.

FYI there’s a complete set for sale right now for 4K, so maybe that’s more realistic? But I think like the others that this truck could be a builder.

Thanks for the input fellas. NDT as far as the damage the pictures don't really show it. The hood is a total loss and the nose cone I guess its called is barely hanging on. Some of the front drivetrain in also messed up. I agree it is a viable candidate to get right it's not a project I'm wanting to get into right now. Funny story though, when I bought it I was actually bidding on a few 2 man hard top trucks but they all went for more than I thought they were worth. That's when I noticed this one with only one bid so went for it and got it. Too good a deal to pass up.

Hmm, if you don’t want to take on this project, maybe the answer is to sell it to someone who does want to take it on. Looks like a very easy project compared to others I have seen and started with.
