I am considering purchasing a M1009 so, I don't have one yet. I'll be searching and lurking around here before I make any decision since THIS seems to be the place for info!!
Anyways, with what info I've found so far I have some questions:
1) Banks Turbo Kit for the 6.2: I thought only LOW compression engines could be turbo'd. From info from another site it seems that the CR on the 6.2 is something like 21.1??
2) Does it depend on who you buy from as to the general overall condition of the M1009? Like, if I were to buy from a car dealer that picked up a few, would these be in 'general' better and if I bought from a private party?
OR: Are the M1009's, again "Generally" in a pretty good state of health upon retirement? (Sort of like police interceptors - You don't want an officer stranded OR any troops stranded)
3) What is the 'average' MPG from a M1009? That would be normal driving, dry pavement.
I think that's it for now. Like I said, I'll be searching and reading and reading and searching...!!
